No collets available for larger or interchangeable bits, so you're stuck with 11/64ths unless you modify the Z carrier.and I've been measuring it.Ĭurrently searching for the best True Type Font to G-code conversion software, so I can at least use it as an engraver. I'm limited to 11/64ths as an end mill, so it's not hopeless, but very limited. I don't think it will do the engraving as well as I'd hope, but the small scale CNC 'stuff' will do just fine. If you've never looked at CNC stuff, you're in for a fun time :tired:

If you download it, make sure you watch all of the video's (5) that are available. If you have the ability to use True Type fonts, I'd stay with what you have. It did great for fonts, but at that time was limited to very few font types. It appears easier to use,(for a newbie), would it be beneficial for me to take a closer look at this, or go with what I have?Don't remember what I had as software back then. From posts that I've read looks like mach3 is a nice setup.
